Aniceto Molina, originally from the town of El Campano, Colombia, began his musical career at the age of 12 playing the accordion. As the years passed, he toured and recorded throughout Central America. From 1973 to 1984 he lived in México and during this time he recorded albums and toured extensively throughout the country, specially with the group Luz Roja de San Marcos, from San Marcos, Guerrero. Aniceto Molina is popular in El Salvador. His song called “El Peluquero Salvatrucho” became number one in the country.
Molina made San Antonio, Texas, his home in the summer of 1984. Molina continues to tour throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. Molina and his group recently released their 43rd album.
