The Latin Breed is a musical group known for its tight-knit, crack horn section and lush vocal expressions. This ensemble of musicians specialize in flashy, jazz-affectionately known to most Tejano music aficionados, helped define the Tejano music experience with it’s traditions since 1969. The Latin Breed is composed very talented musicians. The Breed is led by: Charlie Rodriguez and Adalberto Gallegos. They captured a loyal following with danceable and rhythmic music and lyrics focused on the Tex-Mex culture. This musical entity has been recognized for incorporation sophisticated jazz styling into popular Spanish hit songs. From its origins, circa 1969, the group built a reputation for exciting live performances and skillful musicianship. One thing that has kept the band going through the years is an approach that isn’t stylistically self-limited.

From the beginning “The Latin Breed” registered top of the charts positions at Billboards Hot Latin LP’s. The momentum continued to accumulate a multitude of accolades with its “Power Drive”, “Breakin’ the Rules” and beyond.
