Traizion was estabilished in 1994 in Houston, Texas. There first CD, produced by Gilbert Velasquez, entitled “Quiero Amarte” earned them there first top 20 hit with the title release “Quiero Amarte”.
The BMG U.S. Latin office in San Antonio, Texas took notice of the young and upcoming group and signed them to their first recording contract.
Their sophomore CD “Solo Contigo” earning them a host of top ten hits, as well as a #1 single “Para Que Quiero Un Corazon”, which was previously recorded by Guardines del Amor. This hit helped them crossover into Regional Mexican radio stations such as KLTN Estereo Latino in Houston and KGBT in McAllen, Texas, reaching a high rotation of airplay.
Their third CD “Ahora Sin Ti” produced by Ricardo Castillon of La Diferenzia earned more hits songs with “Tu y Yo” reaching #1 on several stations throughout Texas. This particual song was written by Esmi Talamantez, who has established herself as a strong song writer.
Leaving BMG, Traizion signed with Corpus Christi based Hacienda Records. Traizion hit the charts with 3 different singles “Por Amarte Asi”, “Miento” and “Estas Ruines”.
Now in 2010, Traizion is about to rlease there 5th CD “Siempre Tu” with a tribute to one of Houston’s greatest Tejano bands, La Mafia.
