EB-5 immigrant investor visas for solar energy are generating great interest
If you are bringing money to invest in business in the United States, you are more than welcome to come. That is the general philosophy of the little-known EB-5 immigrant investor visa program (employment based immigration, fifth preference). The threshold required investment level is US $1,000,000.00, unless the investment is made into a business located in a targeted employment area, at which time a reduced investment of $500,000.00 USD is required.
While this program has existed for many years, USCIS has recently announced changes and enhancements to it, encouraging many U.S. based companies to take advantage of it and bring millions of dollars in foreign investment into the economy.

Each investor’s visa should generate 10 jobs within 2 years as a requirement. EB-5 is administered by the US government (USCIS) and it is dedicated to providing investors with one of the fastest and best US immigrant visa options available today. Qualified and approved investors and their families would enjoy permanent residency status and a path to US citizenship. All of this with the support of an active EB-5 team who are exclusively dedicated to the creation and administration of EB-5 Regional Centers and Investors. In the specific case of the New Energy Horizons Regional Center, there’s also the opportunity to invest individually. As an individual, the investor receives an annualized interest of 4%. All EB-5 deposits are FDIC insured before investing; and investments in solar energy projects are also insured. The $1,000,000 USD investment produces an annualized interest of 6%.

Also, allow foreign graduate students to stay if they are offered jobs or set up businesses in the US. We need talent from foreign lands to grow our economy and enrich our country.”
