Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (LISTA) announced today that Jose Jimenez, Chief Diversity Officer, CSC will be honored for his leadership in technology, diversity and inclusion. Jimenez will receive the TechLatino Achievers award, which recognizes industry leaders who make major contribution to the advancement of technology and diversity who happen to be Latino. LISTA will honor Jimenez during the 12th Annual National TechLatino Achievers Awards Gala Dinner Ceremony on May 24th at 7:00pm at the Magnificent Meliá Hotels in Atlanta Georgia.
“With over 35 years of extensive corporate and government experience, his deep knowledge of business, as well as a passion for diversity and inclusion and the Latino community made Jose a natural fit for this award,” said Jose Marquez-Leon, President and CEO of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (LISTA). “Jose is a recognized leader in both the information technology and Hispanic communities, his work for advancement in STEM education in the Latino community is unparalleled, as is his commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.”
Jimenez works closely with CSC executives globally to develop business initiatives that enhance customer and community relationships as well as external and internal communications strategies that strengthen CSC’s ability to attract diverse talent in all markets. Jimenez has provided leadership to many diversity initiatives within NPS, and he has worked extensively to build strong support with external diversity organizations.
